Aziz Kaichouh

Vice President - FMPS (Moroccan Foundation for Preschool), Morocco

Aziz Kaichouh is Vice President of the FMPS (www.fmps.ma), after serving as its Chief Executive Officer since its creation. He is also President of the African Foundation for Lifelong Learning (www.faatlv.org). From May 2023 to October 2025, he served – by appointment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI – as Secretary General of the Higher Council for Education (www.csefrs.ma).

He contributed to the creation of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Social Services (www.fm6education.ma), where he served as Director in charge of organisation, information systems, member affairs and communication. He helped deliver major initiatives including the Nafida IT Program, housing assistance, complementary health insurance, scholarships and leisure programmes, through partnerships with the state and national operators (banks, insurers, hotels, transport providers and universities).

As Director of the IT Department, he also supported the establishment of the Moroccan Higher Council for Education and later served as a Council member. His work included contributing to the Strategic Vision for Education and Training 2030 and to the Council’s opinion on a national roadmap for the generalisation of high-quality preschool education.

The work he led at FMPS enabled Morocco to develop a high-quality national preschool model accessible to all children. Today, FMPS is the country’s leading preschool operator, with more than 25 000 preschool units across all regions, serving over 400 000 children annually.

These achievements contributed to the launch of the National Program for the Development and Generalization of Preschool Education and the INDH Rural Preschool Program.

An IT engineer, he graduated from the École des Mines of Rabat (1994). He holds an MBA from the École des Ponts ParisTech Business School (2002) and a Leadership and Management Diploma from LMI, USA (2019).

He is committed to advancing education and childhood development, with a focus on sustainable development and technology.

Through the HP Cambridge Partnership for Education EdTech Fellowship, he will strengthen his EdTech policy expertise via evidence-based learning, peer exchange and global networks – enhancing his capacity to help design national strategies for Morocco’s digital education transformation.
