Anton Zastavnyi is the Chief Executive Officer of the British International Schools group in Ukraine (BISU), the first Cambridge International School in the country. He is enthusiastic about merging British and Ukrainian curricula, embracing cutting-edge technology, and nurturing global citizens prepared to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and technology, Anton holds an Executive Global Master’s in Management from the London School of Economics and an LL.M. from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He is a firm advocate of AI-driven solutions in education, firmly believing they can revolutionise learning by making it more personalised, engaging, and equitable for every student. His academic achievements, combined with a track record of successful entrepreneurial ventures, underscore his resilience, adaptability, and capacity to drive transformative change.

In his role at BISU, Anton sets strategic direction to integrate forward-thinking teaching practices, multilingual education, and AI-driven solutions. He also ensures that educators are equipped with 21st-century pedagogical tools, reinforcing the importance of creativity, problem-solving, and technological fluency. Prior to joining BISU, he gained leadership and entrepreneurial experience across the tech and education sectors, providing insights into the dynamic interplay between cutting-edge developments and learner needs.

By participating in the HP Cambridge Partnership for Education EdTech Fellowship, Anton aims to expand his expertise in digital transformation and collaborate with global leaders who share his vision for impactful, learner-centric education. Ultimately, he hopes to strengthen BISU’s role as a catalyst for innovative teaching and learning, while contributing to Ukraine’s broader goal of becoming a leading hub for educational and technological advancement.
