Cate Giddens is an Education Advisor at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, supporting business development operations in Central Asia, Europe, and the Americas. She collaborates with ministries of education, education policymakers, and other stakeholders to support efforts to design resilient and inclusive education systems that meet local needs and shape stronger, more equitable societies. Cate has a particular interest in inclusive education and sustainable education transformation.
Cate has extensive experience working in multinational contexts on development projects both at Cambridge as well as during her International Citizen Service in Uganda. She enjoys learning about different cultures in cross-cultural partnerships and using her language skills in Arabic, French, and Spanish.
Cate’s background in social research has driven her commitment to bridging the gap between research and action in the education sphere with Cambridge, which is why she is ecstatic to take part in the Ed Tech Fellowship. She is particularly interested in exploring the role of digital learning in education-in-emergencies during the Fellowship.
