Enkenyelesh Getachew leads the education, corporate, enterprise and public sector accounts in East Africa for technology giant HP. Her role is building strong, trusted advisory relationships with end users, identifying their IT requirements/challenges, and proposing the right HP products and solutions.
She engages with a varied customer base across industries such as large corporate, enterprise, public sector, education, telco, and financial sectors. She provides professional advice to help them solve their IT challenges and achieve their digital transformation plan.
She handles one of the most significant public sector accounts responsible for procuring IT products on behalf of 150+ government bodies and universities.
She led and participated in different projects, including the HP Innovation Hub; the first national school for talented and gifted students – Burayu Talent Development School in Ethiopia, which enables the students to have great experiences in Smart Classroom, Virtual Reality and STEM & Robotics; HP Innovation and Digital Education Academy (HP IDEA) for Rwanda and Tanzania, to allow educators acquire the right skills to take advantage of blended and digital learning solutions; the first HP-NABU Creative Lab in Kigali-Rwanda; and HP Classeasy, Gamified Learning Management System.
She has worked with HP for the past 11 years and previously for an HP distributor managing the Ethiopian market.
