Salim Al Kharusi

Salim Al Kharusi has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Leeds, UK, and a Master’s degree from SQU (both in TESOL).

He started working at the Ministry of Education as a teacher of English in 1994. After eight years of teaching English in the Governorate of South Batinah, he was promoted as a Regional Supervisor. In 2006, Salim was appointed as a Senior Supervisor in the South Batinah region. Five years later, he was transferred to the Department of Educational Supervision at the headquarters of the Ministry. In 2012, Salim was assigned as a Deputy Director of the Department of Human Sciences Curriculum Development for Foreign Languages. In 2020, he was then assigned as a Director of the department.

Salim has also taught as a part-time lecturer in various private and governmental colleges and universities in Oman.

He has participated in many educational events at local and international levels. Recent events include participation in the TableTalk and the Leaders’ Meeting [AF1] at Bett UK.
