Marketing Project Manager - Georgia Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), Georgia

Tatia Tatashvili is the Marketing Project Manager at Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).

At GITA, Tatia works on programmes that improve access to digital education and skills development in Georgia. She contributes to initiatives like “Do IT in Georgia,” a platform that brings IT education programmes together to support learners across the country, and the EU-funded “Do IT with the EU” programme, which helps participants earn global certifications from companies like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. Tatia also supports the development of “AnITa,” an AI-powered digital teaching assistant designed for students in grades 7–12, and the “Code-IT” project, which teaches programming skills to high school students while fostering collaboration and critical digital literacy.

In addition to her role at GITA, Tatia serves as an invited industry expert at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, where she evaluates training programmes and ensures they meet national educational objectives.

Her previous experience includes working as a youth ambassador for UNICEF, where she promoted Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in rural areas and ethnic minority communities. At World Vision Georgia, she also managed programmes that trained underprivileged youth in leadership, employability, and entrepreneurship skills. Through these roles, she has supported various initiatives aimed at reducing inequalities and improving access to education and opportunities.

As part of the Fellowship, Tatia hopes to further her efforts in building scalable digital transformation and strategic partnerships that advance the growth trajectory of Georgia’s education system. She is particularly interested in ensuring that all learners, regardless of their location, have access to high-quality digital education and in fostering a proficient, future-ready workforce through innovative EdTech solutions.
