Huda AlAwar AlBastaki is a Data Analysis Expert in the Minister of Education Office. Huda is currently working as part of the CX Transformation team, which aims to enable the Ministry to deliver an integrated educational journey through world-class services and customer experience design utilising a data-driven approach.

Before joining the Ministry of Education in 2022, Huda was working as a Business Excellence Manager in the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation in Abu Dhabi. There, she focused on initiating the Barakah Excellence Award System; supported in the Human Capital Planning and Performance Management System; was heavily involved in instilling a Culture of Safety, which is essential in the nuclear industry; and developed some financial data analytics and visualisation tools and reports. The latter was a result of her prior experience as a Manager of Data Visualization in the Statistics Center of Abu Dhabi from 2013, where she focused on producing innovative ways to disseminate statistical data such as dashboards and infographics. Additionally, she participated in research papers such as the ‘10 Innovative Ways to Disseminate Consumer Price Index’ at international statistical conferences like IAOS 2014 in Vietnam.

Huda started her career in Zayed House for Islamic Culture in the field of information technology as Information System Analyst and established the IT section there, becoming the Chief of the Information Technology section. From an academic point of view, Huda graduated from the UAE University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, holding a degree of Excellent with honours. After years of work experience, Huda decided to continue her academic path to develop her leadership skills. She continued postgraduate studies in Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, achieving the Master of Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership and graduating with excellence with honours.

Huda believes in the importance of contributing to the development of the UAE and supporting its vision while achieving her personal ambitions, exploiting her skills and talents to make the world a better place.
